Today was our last official day in Bali.
Most of us met for breakfast in the hotel restaurant overlooking the beautiful Tjamphuan grounds. This was our last chance to enjoy those wonderful banana crepes that everyone looked forward to each morning – they were delicious.
Throughout the day, people transported to the Denpasar airport to catch flights to various destinations. Most folks headed home, however Claudette and Diane went to Sanur Beach to extend their time in Bali, Bee and Phil headed back to Australia, JoAnn and Roger went to Thailand & Cambodia, Mary Jane and Nancy to Singapore and Dan and Elaine decided to linger in the ICU at the hospital in Denpasar before heading back to Orlando. That’s another whole story! We are all glad that Dan finally made it home – many thanks to Elaine who stayed with him throughout the entire ordeal.
There were lots of farewells and promises to keep in touch as we ended our time together.
And so ended what was truly a trip of a lifetime.
What an amazing trip we had and now to relive it with this blog that all 22 made possible to publish. Most of all Thank you Nancy!
